iPhone 4 Camera
182 Days ago I was inspired to begin my 365 Day iPhone Photography Project while visiting friends on their estate in Bally, PA. Another visitor, Tim, suggested I check out an iPhone camera application called Hipstamatic, which is one of many that create degraded images that mimic photos from the early ages of photography through the latter decades of the 20th century. I did so and was instantly charged by the creative surge the app ignited in me. Today, exactly six months later, without pre-meditated planning, I was invited back to this location to continue shooting images for a coffee table book I’d like to publish of the estate for the owners. I only had part of the day to shoot and with the challenges of my iPhone–now crammed full with camera apps and photographs–continually shutting down, it left me with far less time and shots before being forced to head home.
But as a celebration of the mid-point of my 365 Project I will post several shots of the Bally House for the coming week.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
